Actually almost every year, the toy manufacturer, Hasbro, is launching a collection of between 4 and 6 ponies under a particular theme, such as Earth Ponies or Rainbow Ponies. And each pony has a colored body, mane and tail plus a distinctive symbol on their hips such as a group of flowers or hearts. Moreover, there are also several accessories released so as to go with the toy ponies like clothes, jewelry, play sets and furniture.
